Info

One road in / One road out is a multi-format film and photographic project incorporating film installation work, and photography that documents three coal mining communities across Europe: The Breza coal mine (Breza, Bosnia); the Amaçuk coal mine (Ereğli, Turkey); and the old coal mining community of the now defunct mines of Rhondda Valley (Wales, UK). My family were Coal miners from the Rhondda Valley in Wales. I grew up with a lump of Coal from the Coillery they worked on my bedside table as a child. They immigrated to Australia, and my Father was born here. It is also my history.
